Assigning Life Groups
A Life Group’s purpose is to learn about Jesus through Bible study, prayer, and group-bonding. Your volunteers lead these groups so they can continue to disciple and invest in your students’ spiritual growth back home.
You should have one Life Group Leader for every Life Group you assign. (You may want to assign a Student Leader to assist them.) Groups can have more than one adult leader, but every group is required to have at least one adult.
Place students in groups of 8 to 12 with one of your Life Group Leaders. We recommend placing groups by age (7th-9th in Junior Life Groups; 10th-12th and recent graduates in Senior Life Groups). You might decide to separate by gender as well. You get to choose how to best arrange your group and where to meet.
