Thank you for your interest in auditioning for one of our bands!
SL/Worship is our band for both youth camp (7th to 12th graders) and kids camp (3rd to 6th graders). The audition you submit will be considered for both of our bands according to your interviews, preferences, and open positions.
To submit your video audition, upload your video to a folder in Google Drive and send the link to hailea@studentlife.com. Title the folder “YourName_Band_Audition”. Ensure the link setting has been changed to “shareable” so that anyone can see it.
You can film these videos on your phone, there’s no need to rent or purchase an expensive camera.
For instrumental and vocal auditions, you will need to submit a video of you playing along with or singing both songs selected for your role. Go to your respective folder to find the tracks to play/sing along with – linked here: SL/Worship.
Additionally, submit a video of you leading worship LIVE. Condense your video down to one song and not an entire worship service. Please submit that video in your audition folder.
If you are auditioning as a vocalist, but you also play an instrument, please submit videos of you doing both at the same time.
