Darren Whitehead

Originally from Australia, Darren Whitehead has lived in the United States for more than 14 years. For the last eight years, Darren has been a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church sharing weekend service teaching responsibilities with Bill Hybels for all six campuses. In the summer of 2012, Darren and a small team moved to Nashville, TN to plant Church of the City, a network of multi-ethnic neighborhood churches across the Nashville metropolitan area. Darren recently released his first book, “Rumors of God” (Thomas Nelson), co-authored with his long-time friend Jon Tyson. Darren lives with his wife, Brandy, and their three daughters in Nashville, TN.
