Connor Graves

Connor is originally from Decatur, AL, but currently resides in Tigerville, SC, where he serves as Campus Ministries Associate for North Greenville University. He is also pursuing a Master of Divinity at Southeastern Seminary. Previously, Connor worked 7 summers on staff with Student Life, including 5 years as an Event Director. Through this experience, he has seen the value of Camp ministry and loves to see God transform students’ lives during a week of Camp. Connor has served in a variety of ways within the local church, including helping lead a college ministry and speaking at various youth events. He is a big fan of his Auburn Tigers, enjoys playing any sport, and loves to travel.

Bethany Barr Phillips

Leading worship and sharing her story of healing, Bethany Barr Phillips takes eight years of church staff experience to the road with a vision to share the Gospel through worship. She has opened for artists such as Andrew Peterson and Bebo Norman, been in lineups with Audio Adrenaline and Toby Mac, and has led worship on platforms with gifted speakers like Scott Dawson, David Nasser and Dr. Jay Strack. Through these experiences, her heart for leading worship and seeing God move among His people only becomes greater.

In January of 2006, Bethany was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer after miscarrying her first child. After six months of chemotherapy, she is now living cancer free. She is mother to Isaiah Jewel and wife to Andy Phillips.

Student Life is excited to have Bethany Barr Phillips leading students in glorifying Christ through praise this summer.

EAT

The cafeteria is located on the 2nd floor of the Bagley Center. Food is served cafeteria style where students can use a tray and walk down the line.  A sandwich bar, salad bar and cereal bar are always available in addition to the main cafeteria line.

SLEEP

Guys: 2, 3, 4 or 5 per room; private or suite Girls: 2, 3, 4 or 5 per room; private or suite Bed types vary including twins, bunks, full, queen and king size beds. We use a large variety of housing options including several buildings that are hotel-style rooms. Most are within a short walk of the cafeteria and Bagley Center (game room and snack shop).

PLAY

Free Time Options - outdoor basketball, miniature golf, frisbee golf, tennis, pool, pedal boats, pedal carts*, hiking trails, volleyball, foosball, Ping Pong, snack bar*, Aqua Park*, Bazooka Ball*, Wet Willie* and paintball*. *Requires additional fee Advance reservations are required for the Aqua Park, paintball, Wet Willie and Bazooka Ball. A link will be provided in the spring to make reservations.
