Jared Darby

Jared is a passionate leader who has been serving at City Hope Church for the last 8 years. A Houston native, Jared was born and went to high school in Missouri City, Texas. He loves Texas, but after graduating from the University of Mobile in 2014, Alabama has felt like home. His drive and commitment to serving the local church is superseded only by his love for his wife Haley, his two kids, and the people he is fortunate enough to serve alongside.

Worship Leader

Aaron Williams

Aaron is a worship leader and songwriter passionate about seeing spiritual awakening in this generation. Aaron has had a heart to write worship songs from a young age, and now, more than ever, seeks to write lyrically rich and musically beautiful songs that help the Church voice its worship to Jesus.

Over the past few years, Aaron has invested more and more of his time and energy into building up and training worship leaders and worship teams in various settings. Whether it’s investing in a small group of leaders in a living-room setting, or leading with a band in a large auditorium, Aaron’s leadership is consistently thoughtful, creative, and Christ-centered.

Mt. Lebanon

EAT

Food is served cafeteria style where students can use a tray and walk down the line.

SLEEP

Dormitory-style, large bunk rooms that vary in sizes and the number of people they can hold. A smaller bunk room may only sleep 16 people and larger rooms may sleep as many as 40 people. Bathrooms are provided in each sleeping area.

Student Life assigns housing based upon max occupancy of a cabin. Example: If a cabin has 40 bunk beds, we try to assign 40 people to that room, even if that means two or three churches are housed together.

PLAY

Swimming pools and a 600-foot slide provide a great escape from the summer heat! Other options include: the Challenge Course, Basketball courts, beach volleyball, gaga ball, 9 square in the air, human foosball, jumping pillow, soccer cage, the Canteen serves snacks and drinks and more!

Misc.

  • Adult chaperones must be at least 20 years of age.
  • All Cars, trucks, vans and busses should be parked after drop off at cabins and remain parked until the end of camp. Vehicles should not be used to transport campers around campus
  • All medications must be turned in at the time of registration in their original container and current (no expired medicines) ALL medication must be dispensed at the Health Center. A camper medication form must be filled out for each person turning in medications (this will be located on our Prep Center).
