Matt Carter was called as the Lead Pastor of Sagemont Church, Houston, Texas, May 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic. He is the founding pastor of The Austin Stone Church, that grew from a core team of 15 to a weekly attendance of 8,000 over six campuses.

During his tenure at The Stone, they sent over 300 full-time missionaries to unreached people groups around the world. Matt has co-authored multiple books including a historical fiction, Steal Away Home which tells the real-life story of Charles Spurgeon’s unlikely friendship with former slave-turned-missionary, Thomas Johnson. Matt holds an MDiv from Southwestern Seminary and a Doctorate in Expositional Preaching from Southeastern Seminary. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for over 20 years, and they have three children.

Judd Harris is a worship leader, songwriter and vocalist who splits his time between coaching and mentoring student worship leaders at Liberty University and traveling as an itinerant worship leader.

Based in Lynchburg, Virginia, Judd spends his weekdays at Liberty University as an artist-in-residence helping train and shepherd the students of the Liberty Worship Collective, the university’s main campus worship team. He is a mentor and coach to student worship leaders as well as chief songwriter for the LWC. In both positions he is passionate about the wholistic ministry of worship leading and creativity, where worship leadership is just as prevalent off-stage as on, and where art is participation with God in blessing His church as well as bringing the creative heart closer to Himself.
