Glorieta Conference Center

Located in the foothills of the Southern Rockies, Glorieta Conference Center is a beautiful escape that provides the perfect location for students who need to get away from the real world and focus on the Word and fellowship with other students from your church. Free time options include four water slides, two water blobs, drift trikes, rappelling, zip drop, hiking, paintball, rock climbing wall, basketball courts and sand volleyball.

Zac Workun

Zac currently serves as the Student Ministry Specialist for Lifeway Students. Zac is also the co-founder and network lead for Youth Ministry Booster. Zac is a reader, gamer, car-camper, folk musician, black coffee-drinker, beard aficionado. He loves to eat breakfast burritos at new places with his wife Karen and two wild boys Isaiah & Gideon.

For 17+ years, Zac has served on staff at local churches in Oklahoma and North Carolina to oversee middle school, high school and college-aged ministries. Zac received his undergraduate education from Oklahoma Baptist University and his Master’s of Divinity from Duke University.

Breakaway Worship

Breakaway Worship is a collective of worship leaders, musicians, and songwriters dedicated to lifting high the name of Jesus on the campus of Texas A&M. Beyond leading worship at Breakaway Ministries every Tuesday night, Breakaway Worship exists to write songs that are for students, and about the life change that students experience at Breakaway.

Their hope is that years from now, students would still be singing a chorus of a song from college because it marked such a powerful moment in their lives.

With the release of their debut album, “More Than Anything”, Breakaway Worship hopes to see a generation of young believers chasing after the heart of God. Believing that these songs can carry the same message close to home at Texas A&M and around the world. After leading worship on Tuesday night’s at Breakaway Ministries for years, Breakaway Worship now hopes that these song would bring life and hope wherever they go.

Glorieta Conference Center

SLEEP

Dorms hold anywhere from 4–20 people with community-style bathrooms. The dorms are just steps away from the dining hall, coffee shop and lake. Note: Housing priority is based on date deposits are received in the Student Life office.

Most dorms are not air-conditioned but with cooler evening temps and low humidity, A/C is not typically needed!

EAT

The dining hall offers family-style dining with typical options being chicken alfredo, pulled pork, and chicken. The salad bar is always available.

Free Time Options: blob, drift trikes, mud pit, inflatable rock wall, paintball, volleyball, gaga ball, crate stacking, archery tag, disc golf, rock climbing, rappelling and coffee shop that students can enjoy during free time each afternoon.
