ADA defines a service animal as any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual or other mental disability. Per the US Dept of Justice, “The crime deterrent effects of an animal’s presence and the provision of emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship do not constitute work or tasks for the purposes of this definition.” Such animals are not service animals and are therefore not permitted in any Ridgecrest facility.
Ridgecrest regularly takes photos and shoots film and video on campus. Every guest of Ridgecrest, by visiting the campus acknowledges and agrees that these photos, films and videos may be taken and used in promotional materials.
